Our Vaccine Philosophy

Little Boy Playing Doctor

The best care starts with prevention!

All of us at Joshi Pediatrics understand that all parents love their children as we love our own!  We know that parents are trying to make the best decisions possible. We also know that there is information that can be confusing.  We want you to know that we make recommendations based on scientific evidence and facts. Vaccines are an important part of promoting children's health and well being.  Not vaccinating does not protect them against Autism but it does leave them vulnerable to diseases.  We are happy to answer your questions and provide you with good solid evidence for the importance of vaccination.

All of us at Joshi pediatrics follow the immunization guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).  For information about these vaccines and the diseases they protect against, please visit: http://www.aap.org/healthtopics/immunizations.cfm

For detailed informational sheets published by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) please visit:  www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis.
